Little Cardinals Preschool
Become a Little Cardinal at DuBois Central Catholic School!
Deciding where to send your child for the beginning of their academic experience can be intimidating, as the right choice is critical for their future success and development. As a single-facility school complex, we are advanced in meeting the needs of our youngest learners. We provide a safe, secure environment with a full-time police officer and nurse present during operating school hours. Our safety training and security protocols are evaluated and enhanced on an on-going basis.
But what makes our facility unique in comparison to other alternatives is that our Little Cardinals attend classes in a school complex setting, preparing them for their transition into kindergarten. Our complex provides multiple in-door and out-door facilities for our preschool students to explore, including two (2) outdoor playgrounds, Noah's Ark outdoor discovery area, a "little kid" gym equipped with rock climbing walls, as well as specialty classrooms that offer an introduction to technology, art, and music. Little Cardinals also have access to our full-scale children's library with over 2,000 new books purchased within the last two years.
Our programs are accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, meeting or exceeding all state requirements. Our preschool curriculum follows the guidelines set in the State Standards for Early Childhood Education, and our faculty are all state-certified teachers. We supplement our educational standards with Catholic principles and value systems that develop the entire child, and create unsurpassed school culture rooted in respect, service, leadership, and community.
