Gretchen Caruso is pleased to announce that Diane Gibes has been named as the new Director of Marketing and Admissions at DCC. “I am so excited to welcome Diane to our school family! Her enthusiasm, creativity, and love for Catholic education are already shining through. I look forward to the wonderful ways she will help share our mission and grow our school community." Diane will be responsible for meeting with families and guiding them through the enrollment process, as well as planning marketing campaigns and promotions for the school.
Diane is a seasoned marketing professional with more than 25 years of experience providing leadership in all facets of public relations, branding, business development, digital marketing and community relations to organizations, large and small.
Prior to returning to her hometown of Brockway in 2020, Diane was a corporate communications manager at a Fortune 500 company and held several manager and director level marketing and public relations positions at both U.S.-based and global law firms. While living in Las Vegas, she was the associate director of public relations for a leading public relations firm where she served clients in the real estate, environmental, transportation and legal industries.
“I’m delighted to join DuBois Central Catholic and work alongside the staff, teachers and students as we gear up for the 2025-2026 school year,” said Diane. “I look forward to meeting everyone at the school, helping guide new students and families through the admissions process, and continuing to build upon the foundation of excellence and longstanding traditions that make DCC the leader it is today in academics, sports, and many other student activities, both in and out of the classroom.”
Diane received her B.S. in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the DuBois Area United Way and is a Girl Scout Leader. She previously served as President of the Public Relations Society of America, Las Vegas Chapter.
Diane and her family are thrilled to be living back in her hometown. “My experience since returning to Brockway has been amazing. I can’t wait to share all of the incredible things our DCC teachers and staff are doing to ensure our students’ success both in and out of the classroom.”
