Anawim Ministries from Frenchville asked the club to provide new pajamas for children in Clearfield and Jefferson County and surrounding areas. Club President Kairys Martini suggested the project to the club, which raised funds to cover the cost of the pajamas through a variety of channels. The club held a hot chocolate bar and bake sale at the school and requested financial donations. All of the money raised went directly to the pajama project. After the group raised funds to purchase pajamas, they shopping at several local stores to buy the pajamas. Through their efforts, the club provided new pajamas for 88 children aged infant through teen.

The ministry’s purpose is to help meet the unmet needs of the people of Clearfield County and surrounding areas. Each year the group organizes the Young People Who Care Christmas Ministry. The Christmas Ministry works to assist families with their needs. Gift requests focus on clothing and household items.
