Welcome to Campus Ministry

Campus Minister – Mrs. Becky Dutra

All members of the community are encouraged to share their gifts in order to enrich the greater community. Liturgies, prayer services, retreats, community events and service projects are the result of people sharing their gifts and talents. Of the qualities we strive to instill in our students, Faith and Service best reflect how the DuBois Central Catholic School community shares in the mission of the global Catholic Church. The Campus Ministry Program at DuBois Central Catholic exists to invite the community to embrace the call to fullness of life in Christ and in the Church. At its core, DuBois Central Catholic Campus Ministry is about building the Kingdom of God.  The means to that end include program elements such as retreats, liturgies, prayer experiences, service learning, and spiritual formation.

Components of the DuBois Central Catholic Campus Ministry Program:

  • Prayer and Liturgy
  • Weekly school Liturgies
  • Reconciliation services – Advent & Lent
  • Morning and afternoon prayer as a community and meal prayer at lunch
  • Retreats
  • Eucharistic Ministers – Seniors
  • Service Hours and Opportunities
  • Spiritual Formation
  • Opportunities for Leadership
  • Planning of liturgy and prayer services

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist

Seniors of good character may be trained to be Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist.  This allows them to distribute communion at weekly Masses.  It is a great opportunity for leadership and service.
