What is the Endowment Trust Fund?

Endowed funds provide a lasting source of support for DuBois Central Catholic and are held in perpetuity. As such, the corpus remains untouched and only a portion of the average annual investment return (2%-7%) is spent to balance the needs presented in the budget. The remaining income is added to the principal as protection against inflation. This assures that the original funds will grow over time.

 

DuBois Central Catholic’s endowment was created in 2000 and has had steady growth since its inception. It generates vital funding for operations and enables the school to respond to important needs as they arise.

 

The Endowment Fund accepts memorial/honorary gifts, unrestricted gifts, and bequests.
