Director's Message

Dear Alumni, Parents, and Friends of DuBois Central Catholic:

 

In my years as a student, parent, teacher, principal, and now President, I have been constantly impressed and amazed at the generosity shown to DuBois Central Catholic.  No matter the need, the project or fundraiser, the outpouring of support from alumni, parents (both current and former) and friends has truly been a blessing.

 

Without a doubt, your partnership with Central is crucial as we move forward.  I ask each of you to continue your support in at least one of these three ways.  First, your presence at our events.  We love to see old and new friends at our many athletic events, musicals, masses, and, of course, our yearly DCC Spring Auction and Grand Gala.  The DCC community prides itself on its family and community atmosphere, and we look forward to welcoming you home as you attend our many events.

 

Next, I ask for your continued financial support.  For DCC to sustain and flourish into the future, we need to be fiscally sound.  For sure, DuBois Central Catholic is an exceptional school, and we look forward to continuing this Catholic Mission because of your generosity as one of our benefactors.

 

Last, I ask for your prayers.  We live in a very challenging world.  We need your prayers to help us carry out our mission each and every day.  Our students need your prayers as they face unimaginable obstacles and decisions.  Our faculty and staff need your prayers to help them be the best role models and leaders for our students.  Yes, our beloved DCC needs your prayers!

 

In a changing world, the values espoused by a Catholic education are not always a priority.  However, I can assure you that it’s a huge priority for the families we serve in DuBois and the surrounding communities.
