Volunteer Clearances
Volunteer clearances are mandated by the Diocesan Office for the Protection of Children since the beginning of the 2019-20 school year. Once clearances are complete, they are good for five years.
There is a link to the right to the volunteer chart that includes a variety of things that parents volunteer for such as homeroom parent (regular volunteer), These volunteers would now need the clearances that linked to the right. There is no charge for volunteers for these clearances and the Federal Criminal History Record (fingerprinting) is only necessary if you have not lived in Pennsylvania for the past 10 years.
Click on the links to the right and they will take you to the site where you can complete what you need. Once you have everything completed, you can turn it all in to the school.
The following people are considered School Visitors: guest readers in the classroom and parents sharing a birthday lunch with their child. They do NOT need clearances.
If you have any questions, please call the DCC office at 814-371-2570.
