Cardinal Legacy Society

 

Enrollment in The Cardinal Legacy Society is offered to all those who share a commitment to the educational and spiritual growth of our students, who endorse the mission of the DuBois Central Catholic and who affirm that commitment by means of a planned or outright gift (at a minimum level of $10,000).

To become eligible for The Cardinal Legacy Society membership, an individual must inform the School in writing that the DuBois Central Catholic has been included in his or her estate plans along with documentation. . Gifts donated to any of the following DCC program (s) will be considered:

  • The DCC Fund
  • Endowment Trust Fund
  • Scholarship
  • Unrestricted

All gifts greater than $10,000 will be given permanent recognition (upon receipt of gift) on The Cardinal Legacy Society plaque at the DuBois Central Catholic.

Endowment

DuBois Central Catholic School’s Endowment is critical in securing the school’s long-term financial stability. The endowment supports current priorities through ongoing annual interest generated by the fund.  Gifts to the endowment directly support financial aid, faculty and staff professional development and general operating expenses.

Created  Scholarships

Every year more and more students benefit from donors that support the school’s scholarship program. Some of these scholarships are based on financial need, some on academic performance, and some are given to students who meet other special criteria. These scholarships have been created by individuals who are committed to providing a quality, faith-based education to our children.

    • Endowed Scholarship: a long-lasting opportunity to honor or memorialize someone special. Your gift is invested and a percentage of the ‘earnings’ is used to fund the scholarship. A minimum amount of $10,000 is required.
    • Pass-Through Scholarship: an annual or one-time gift ($500  recommended  amount) to DCC that ‘passes through’ to the recipient(s).
    • May be made in honor of someone or in memory of someone or may be established in your will
