Alex Allender, Class of 2013
Attending Edinboro University, majoring in fitness and health sciences; recipient of the Platinum Award, Superior Cade Decoration Award, Amvets Award, American Legion General Military Excellence Award; was a participant in Edinboro’s Ranger Team Challenge; enrolled in the Army ROTC program.
Jaime Lynn Syrylo DeFrank, Class of 1973
Clarion University & Harrisburg Hospital, 1977; worked as Medical Technologist at the Hershey Medical Center for 35 years; married to Dr. John DeFrank, mother of Laura, Brian and Ethan.
Kristine Gasbarre, Class of 1998
Co-author of New York Time’s Best Selling memoir, Etched in Sand, with Regina Calcaterra; started working in the publishing industry at Simon & Shuster while in graduate school at Fordham University in New York City; authored her first book, How To love An American Man, through HarperCollins; currently working on her second project for HarperCollins.
Courtney Herzing, Class of 2009
Earned BA in Journalism, Gannon University; hosted talk shows on WERG 90.5 FM; was assistant editor for The Gannon Knight; was PR practitioner for The Erie Playhouse; currently employed at First Media Radio, LLC in DuBois.
Amanda Knarr, Class of 2009
Majored in Political Science and International Studies with a minor in Spanish at Washington & Jefferson College; awarded three Magellan Awards for independent research projects; entered Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service Masters Program; has interned with the United Nations and Chilean government; currently an intern at The Bretton Woods Committee; also a certified personal trainer.
Benjamin J. Kunkle, Class of 2005
HR Coordinator at Connect America, makers of Medical Alert, near Philadelphia; earned a BS in Business Marketing from Clarion University in 2009.
Daniel McNally, Class of 2009
Graduate of Robert Morris University; worked as a paid intern at Henderson Brothers, Pittsburgh, his senior year; currently Mortgage Servicing Analyst for Provident Funding, Carnegie, PA.
Joseph McNally, Class of 2010
Currently in 5th year of a 6 year program at Gannon University; summer interned at Drayer Physical Therapy, Bellefonte; plans to finish his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2016.
Matthew McNally, Class of 2007
Graduated from Washington & Jefferson College in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Clinical Psychology with a double major in English & Psychology; in 2013, earned a Masters in Psychology from West Virginia University; in 2016, will fulfill requirements for his PhD in Forensic Psychology; has worked in both state and federal prisons; married Tara Fatula, […]
