‘Cubelets’ Introduce Robotics Concept

Students in the primary grades at DuBois Central Catholic Elementary are learning about basic robotics using Cubelets, an interactive robotics system for young learners to construct various robotic functions using multiple ‘cubes.’ In the photo, students  were really excited to see how the Cubelets can sense light, move and even spin when connected correctly. This hands-on lesson was presented to all DCC first and second graders by Sarah Winslow, Elementary Technology Teacher, and Stacey Truman, Act 89 instructor. Winslow adds, “Older elementary students will experience the Scribbler robots to learn higher-level coding concepts and to strengthen their analyzing skills.”
