Homecoming at DCC…December 21

The Student Council of DuBois Central Catholic High School will be hosting Homecoming on Thursday, December 21. The Cardinals will be playing the Mounties of Philipsburg-Osceola High School.

Homecoming events have been organized by Student Council officers Jessica Tomasko, President, and Meghan Graeca, Vice-President. Council members Emily Williams, Maria Werner, Beth Williams, Madison Gill, Haley Pettenati, and Lindsey Reiter will assist.  Academic Dean of Curriculum, Kathleen Kunkle, serves as advisor of Student Council.

At halftime of the boys’ varsity game, the Homecoming Court will be recognized and the queen crowned. The court consists of six senior high girls elected through individual class voting.

The members of the 2017-2018 court, along with their escorts, include the following high school students:

  • 9th Grade: Michaela Armanini, daughter of Michael and Valerie Armanini; her escort is her twin brother Dante Armanini.
  • 10th Grade: Maia Cogley, daughter of Cheryl and John Bloom and James M. Cogley; her escort is Jonathan Kurtz, son of William Kurtz and the late Joanne Kurtz.
  • 11th Grade: Ashley Wruble, daughter of Brian and Amy Wruble; her escort is­­­­­­­­­­­­ Justin Miknis, son of Dan and Kim Miknis.

Three senior girls will vie for queen:

  • Rebecca Liddle, daughter of Robert and Theresa Liddle; her escort is Zach Schoeneman, son of William and Penny Schoeneman.
  • Hannah Miller, daughter of Dustin and Cynthia Miller; her escort is Alex Adamski, son of Michael and Aimee Adamski.
  • Raquel Salada, daughter of Patrick and Nickie Salada; her escort is Anthony DePello, son of Tony and Char DePello.

Three senior candidates have been nominated for Mr. C.C.H.S.: Alex Adamski, Anthony DePello, and Zach Schoeneman.
