DCC HOSTS EITC WORKSHOP
DuBois Central Catholic will be hosting a guest speaker from the Pennsylvania EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) Program on Wednesday, March 29, from 11:30 to 1 p.m. in the school’s secondary library.
Mr. James O’Donnell, Director of the Tax Credit Office of the Department of Community & Economic Development, will be presenting a workshop on how individuals and businesses can participate in this worthwhile program.
Who should attend this free workshop? CFOs, CPAs, Controllers, Accountants, Bookkeepers, Financial Planners and Businesses authorized to do business in PA who are subject to one or more of the following taxes: Personal Income Tax, Capital/Foreign Franchise Tax, Corporate Net Income Tax, Bank Shares Tax, Title Insurance & Trust Company Shares Tax, Insurance Premium Tax, Mutual Thrift Tax, Malt Beverage Tax, and Retaliatory Fees under Section 212 of the Insurance Company Law of 1921.
Mr. O’Donnell will give an overview of the EITC Program, the tax credit opportunities for qualified businesses, and the ease of the application process, including a Q & A session.
