“Facts Worth Knowing” about DCC’s Annual Auction


  • All auction items are donated each year from a variety of sources: past and current parents, grandparents, faculty & staff members, friends of DCC, and local businesses.


  • The event takes place at the Lakeview Lodge at Treasure Lake, dress is casual, and everyone is welcome to attend. Invite your friends to this fun evening, too!


  • The auction reservation price of $25.00 per adult includes an hors d’eouvre buffet of hot and cold items and complimentary beverages  (beer, wine, & pop) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.   A silent auction of over 200+ items takes place during 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. as well.


  • All bidding is done by a pre-assigned Bid Paddle Number as you enter.      Note: No tickets are sold at the door….advanced reservations only…so all current families  should watch the mail for their invitation.  


  • At approximately 8:15 p.m., the five winners of the Key Club items are chosen; only 150 keys  are available at the start of the auction for a chance at these items. This is optional!


  • The live auction of 50+ items begins following the Key Club!


  • A tasty dessert buffet with coffee is included in the ticket price for all auction-goers. The dessert buffet opens at about 7:45 p.m. and is available the remainder of the evening!             


  • Each year, DCC’s elementary grades create beautiful theme baskets and memorable items for the silent auction. Each secondary homeroom (there are 14) creates a theme basket, too!


  • All proceeds from this yearly auction benefit all students at Central from Pre-K through Grade 12. The money generated goes directly into the school system’s operating budget.
