DCC’S SENIOR CLASS TO STAGE “DEATH BY CHOCOLATE”
The Senior Class of DuBois Central Catholic will present Death by Chocolate on Friday, November 10, and Saturday, November 11, at 7:30 p.m. in DCC’s auditorium. This comedy/murder/mystery offers a cast of quirky character sure to entertain all ages. The play is directed by Fr. Ed Walk and produced by Mrs. Carol Korthaus.
The cast stars Carolyn Sette as Lady Riverdale, the owner of Riverdale Chocolates Inc., and the new owner of the Meadowbrook Health Resort. Anthony DePello is the quick-witted manager John Stone and Cecelia Tornatore is Dyslexia, Lady Riverdale’s secretary.
John Swalligan plays Ralph Deadwood, the gym manager at the resort. Anastasia Tarcson is Margaret Daniels, a journalist writing an article about the resort. Alex Adamski portrays Alfred Mellox, the butler. Raquel Salada personifies Edith Chiles, the head chef, and Brenna Engle is Sweet Pea Meadowbrook, the daughter of Henry Meadowbrook.
Other cast members are Madison Barnett as Tiffany Simmering, the aerobics instructor, and Rebecca Dohner is Anne, the nurse. Rebecca Liddle appears as the writer, Agatha Parlor, while Zach Schoeneman portrays Henry Meadowbrook, the founder of the Meadowbrook Health Resort.
According to Walk and Korthaus, this production brings together an eclectic cast of characters who combine the elements of a classic murder mystery in a hysterical satirical production.
